2006 Bike Show
Well I checked out the 2006 Cycle World International Motorcycle Show last weekend - it gives me the chance to get my fill of motorcycle stuff in these winter months. Overall the show was kind of a bummer - nothing really amazing and the vendors were kind of lacking. Even the custom choppers weren't anything special.. I think it's because they get so much coverage on the American Chopper and Biker Build Off TV shows - even the high dollar bikes start to look the same.
There is one guy that has been on Biker Build off a couple of times that I think is super talented. His name is Matt Hotch and his company is Hot Match Custom Cycles. My wife got me a hat with his company's logo on it for my birthday and this guy was at the show - so I was able to have him sign it for me.
I wanted to pick up some new gloves, but there wasn't much to choose from. I did find a dealer out of Waukesha, WI that was discounting all their gloves by 15%, which is a good deal considering the glove I wanted is normally never discounted, even on the internet.
They didn't have them there, so I called up and ordered them after the show, but was still able to take advantage of their show discount. So take a look at these bad-boys... The Icon Timax glove. 10 titanium plates for protection, not to mention they look intimidating. All I can say is don't mess with me or my bike or you'll find some hefty scratches on your car, or your face.

Can I use those gloves to change the oil on my car. I don't think I can bust a knuckle with those things. By the way, do you have to register with the police departmenet? Considering those look lethal and all.
